Tuesday February 14, 2006 ~ ". . Recent Middle East History: Historians begin to piece together the recent record of the Middle East countries explaining the backgrounds to various wars, invasions and covert actions, most of which seem to have had a certain oil agenda ~~ Two such works are: (1) Everest, Larry ~ Oil, Power and Empire – Iraq and the US Global Agenda; and; (2) Ahmed, Nafeez, 2005, The War on Truth – 9/11, Disinformation and the Anatomy of Terrorism; Arris Books (ISBN 1 84437 059-3) ~~ It is hard to know what to make of the information they contain, but they are certainly well documented with apparently authentic references, delivering rather chilling accounts of events that were accompanied by much suffering and loss of life. It was Clemenceau, the French Premier in the last Century who famously said that a drop of oil was worth a drop of blood. It seems however that more than drops are now at stake. Perhaps there is an economic law that life gets cheaper as oil gets more expensive ~~ Apparently most of the US Navy, including landing craft, have put to sea ~ one can only guess at the destination, but Iran is a candidate. (Information furnished by Julian Darley)
Sunday February 12, 2006 ~ Typically Sunday should be spent worshiping and resting but these days God does not take time off because of situations such as ~ Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, simply does not trust the Tony Blair, George I & II Bush, Cheney, CABAL ~Could this be one of the reasons he is behaving like a madman?
Saturday February 11, 2006~ Slowly but surely more information is allowed into the mainstream media. We should demand to know exactly WHO is in charge ~ how did a certain select few HUMANS become inspired with the notion that they are omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent? Karl Roveis undoubtedly one of the most devious politicians in history and it is no secret he studies Hitler's "Architect," 'religiously'. He has taken the Christ out of Christian and made it a political weapon. Also, the"Architect of the Iraq War," Paul Wolfowitzand the"Prince of Darkness," Richard Perlejoined Rove, et al, in using the stark tone of evil versus good ~ the "worship of death" and "philosophy of despair" versus our "love of life and democracy" ~ clearly, to manipulate and control. (thank you StealthBadger for the Karl Rove 'insight' link)
Barbara Tuchman, in "A Distant Mirror,"
mentioned one of the Philips of Spain, about whom it was said (and I am
paraphrasing) that no failure of his policy could dissuade him from
believing in its essential excellence.
That puts me in mind of George W. Bush. The internet is just
chockful of revelations about the failures of Bush's policies. There
is a short, concise list in an article on HuffpoCenter for American Progress. and a rather larger one compiled by the
My belief is that Bush is really just a talking head, who will
blithely peddle any reactionary nonsense suggested to him by Karl Rove,
Richard Cheney or any of the other war monger criminals with whom he
has surrounded himself.
