Maestro, indeed. Look up "charlatan" in the dictionary and there should be a picture of Greenspan.

"Curtains"

Bags of money litter the floor,
pressures build and the whistles steam.
Levers crank to the bankers roar,
printing cash is an all-night chore,
while the band plays Greenspan's theme.

Ignore rent, plant a money tree;
your landlord's coming, quite soon.
Mean winds will blow the curtain back,
Greenspan's reign ends in red, not black
in our land of the not-so-free.
